How Your Schedule Needs To Look
Most people cannot seem to take care of the five main parts of success with a B2B service business:
Yourself
Your offer
Your lead gen funnel
Your operations
Your employee training
The reason they cannot take care of all these things is because there is no time, and the reason there is no time is because their schedule is completely f*cked up. There are absolutely no boundaries or rhyme or reason to it. It is just a complete mess where anyone can book a call or have access to them at any time.
Here is what a proper schedule looks like:
12:00 AM: Sleep
1:00 AM: Sleep
2:00 AM: Sleep
3:00 AM: Sleep
4:00 AM: Sleep
(Calendar blocked from 5:00am to 12:00pm)
5:00 AM: Wake up + go on the treadmill (or any exercise) + make bed + brush teeth, etc.
6:00 AM: One hour of work on your lead gen funnel
7:00 AM: One hour of work creating content/ads
8:00 AM: One hour of work making SOPs + systems for operations
9:00 AM: One hour of work making employee trainings and hiring systems
10:00 AM: One hour of work improving your offer + creating assets to help you sell it
11:00 AM: Break/catch up on previous hours
(Your "work" starts here after your actual important work is done)
12:00 PM: Client work/employee meetings/whatever you would normally be doing
1:00 PM: Client work/employee meetings/whatever you would normally be doing
2:00 PM: Client work/employee meetings/whatever you would normally be doing
3:00 PM: Client work/employee meetings/whatever you would normally be doing
4:00 PM: Client work/employee meetings/whatever you would normally be doing
5:00 PM: Go to the gym
6:00 PM: Spend time with family/friends/dates/hobbies/interests
7:00 PM: Spend time with family/friends/dates/hobbies/interests
8:00 PM: Spend time with family/friends/dates/hobbies/interests
9:00 PM: Get ready for bed + the next day
10:00 PM: Sleep
11:00 PM: Sleep
There will be a large percentage of people who will say something like "I can't have a schedule like this, what advice would you give me?"
I actually have the perfect piece of advice for this group of people.
That advice is:
"Have fun being in the same position a year from now as you are today."
It's called taking responsibility and doing what you need to do. Try it out and see what happens.
Good luck.
