Train Yourself To Be Resourceful

The dictionary definition of resourceful is “having the ability to find quick and clever ways to overcome difficulties.”

When people talk about “soft skills” to develop, this one rarely makes the list, yet is one of the most important skills to develop. The key word here is develop. This is something that you can train yourself to do.

The easiest way to “become” a person who is resourceful is to surround yourself and learn from people who are resourceful. The main hurdle here is that you simply do not know the possibilities, and in most cases, the only way to learn is to see it in action from someone further ahead of you.

Here is a good example of this.

Let’s say that you want to run ads for your product/offer/service but do not know where to start.

Start scrolling through Instagram, save every ad you see with over 1 million views
Get the ad URL, download it with a free tool
Upload the file into Capcut and crop it to the first three seconds (the hook).
Edit your own text/overlay on top of theirs. Do this with 10-20 different ads to create 10-20 hooks.
Edit these hooks to the beginning of a video of you simply talking about your service.
See which hook works best. Then, recreate that hook with an original video to avoid copyright claims/hurt feelings. You are now testing 10-20 effective hooks (they have millions of views) in less than one hour.

It really is that easy. By taking their hooks, you are bypassing likely millions of dollars in testing, and brainpower, and getting the majority of the reward for yourself.
