1. Focus on the "hook."
Even if it is an image ad, there is still a "hook" which is typically referred to as the first three seconds.
Every single person who looks at it should completely understand what the offer is within the first 3 seconds.
2. Match the ad headline/message to the landing page headline
This is a strangely common error.
If someone clicked on your ad headline, they are interested.
So, why would you completely change the landing page headline? Just do the same thing with little to no change.
3. Add bonuses to the landing page
They already clicked on the ad so they are at least somewhat interested.
Add 1-4 bonuses to the landing page to make your offer (that they were already interested in) even better.
This will improve your opt in rate.
4. Improve your offer
All lead gen ads should have some sort of offer (ie lead magnet or paid product).
The more "desirable" this offer is, the better your ads will perform.
You will get lower cost per click + higher opt in rate.
Just make sure the better offer is still relevant.
5. Make sure your offer is ONLY desirable to your target market
Keep your offer pretty specific & try your best to phrase it in a way that excludes people outside of your target audience.
If unqualified people download it, your list & pixel data will be full of the wrong people.
